Djembe Flow: A Mindfulness Practice

Using djembe drumming as a mental vehicle to facilitate our consciousness, Djembe Flow is a guided rhythmic base activity where participants experience:

- Mindfulness of self: through aligning  movement of our hands with the intended sequence in  our mind to a steady beat, with the purpose of achieving balance of mind and body within our inner self.

- Mindfulness of others: through aligning  movement of our hands with what we are listening to, with the purpose of recognising and embracing anxieties that may otherwise control us.

The objective of this workshop is to help participants to be more aware of their inner self, and to provide mindfulness practice through rhythm as a way to improve mental well being.
